Sign up for GatherNearby using your email address or social login with Google. After signing up, complete your profile by adding:

• A profile photo
• Your location (city/state)
• A short bio about yourself
• Your interests (helps us recommend classes)

Browse classes in several ways:

• Search: Use the search bar to find classes by keyword, teacher, or topic
• Browse by Category: Explore categories like Arts, Music, Fitness, Tech, and more
• Near You: Filter by location to find classes in your area
• Recommendations: Check your dashboard for personalized suggestions

Your dashboard is your home base on GatherNearby. Here you can see:

• Upcoming classes you've enrolled in
• Classes you're teaching (if you're a teacher)
• Your clubs and organizations
• Recent activity and notifications

Control how others see you on GatherNearby:

• Profile Visibility: Choose Public, Registered Users Only, or Private
• Contact Info: Toggle whether your email and location are visible
• Blocking: Block users to prevent them from messaging you or viewing your profile
• Data Export: Download a copy of all your data at any time

Find all privacy settings under Settings → Privacy.

Stay on top of your schedule and activity:

• Email Notifications: Get updates for bookings, messages, reviews, and more
• Push Notifications: Real-time alerts in your browser where supported
• Weekly Digest: A summary of your upcoming classes and activity
• Calendar Sync: Export your bookings to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook via iCalendar (ICS) feed

Customize which notifications you receive in Settings → Notifications.
